Harry Redknapp certainly had a mixed season with Spurs. Finishing fourth should have been a triumph but when the season ended it felt like failure.
Spurs threw away an third spot which was theirs for the taking, and then the unthinkable happened with Chelsea winning the Champions League, sending them into the Europa League instead.
Redknapp of course should shoulder part of the blame for the club’s failure to take third.
A lack of ambition in the transfer market in January was part down to him, and part Daniel Levy.
The decision to loan out Steven Pienaar also backfired, the club could have done with him in the final stretch.
When it looked like Redknapp would be leaving the club this summer to take the England job, we asked supporters who they wanted as the club’s next manager.
Brendan Rodgers was a popular name which kept cropping up, with fans impressed at the style and achievement of his Swansea side.
So now he appears to be Anfield bound, do fans feel they have missed out?
