Celtic edged out the Dons 1-0 at Pittodrie to remain unbeaten in the Premiership this season.

Speaking to the club’s official website, manager Brendan Rodgers has paid tribute to Jozo Simunovic and Erik Sviatchenko for their performance in Celtic’s 1-0 win over Aberdeen on Saturday afternoon.
Tom Rogic’s strike on 24 minutes was enough to give Celtic a slender win over the Dons, who fell 10 points behind the Bhoys – who also have a game in hand – as a result of the defeat.
Rodgers’s side controlled the game for the most part, but one-goal leads are always dangerous and the Hoops’ back four did enough to keep Aberdeen at bay.

And speaking to Celtic’s official website, the Northern Irish manager says that his two centre-backs, in particular, were “outstanding” at Pittodrie yesterday.
“I felt the two centre halves were outstanding – very good, competitive, strong and played when they good,” he said
Winning a sixth successive Premiership title – and first under Rodgers – seems like a foregone conclusion more and more every single gameweek.

Celtic are nine points ahead of second-placed Rangers with a game in hand, meaning the gap is potentially 12 points.
And the way things are going, that margin is only going to get bigger and bigger as the seasons unfolds.
