Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic missed the Glasgow side’s match against Partick Thistle last night.

Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that Tom Rogic could be back for Celtic in time for their match against Ross County on 28th December.

Rogic missed Celtic’s contest with Partick Thistle yesterday evening with injury, and there were fears that the Australian international could have been sent for a lengthy period of the sidelined.

However, Rodgers insists that Celtic are not unduly concerned about Rogic’s injury – and they expect him to be back fit soon.

Rogic’s return to fitness will be a big boost for the Bhoys, as he has played an important role so far this season.

The 24-year-old has arguably enjoyed his best run of form in a Celtic shirt since Rodgers took charge.

The attacking midfielder has netted 10 goals in 27 appearances so far this season for the Bhoys.

In Rogic’s absence, Celtic picked up a hard fought 1-0 victory over Partick last night.

The Bhoys are now 14 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
