Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths is unavailable right now.

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has told the Daily Record that striker Leigh Griffiths may yet be out for weeks as his absence from the first team continues.
The Bhoys beat Hearts 3-0 in the Betfred Cup semi-finals on Sunday afternoon, with Ryan Christie coming off the bench to have a hand in all three goals.
Celtic needed Christie’s impact as Rodgers is currently short of options in attack, with Odsonne Edouard the only recognised centre forward at his disposal right now.
Moussa Dembele was sold to Lyon on deadline day in August, and Scotland international Griffiths hasn’t played since the 6-0 win at St Johnstone before the international break.
The 28-year-old pulled out of the Scotland squad and hasn’t returned to action for Celtic, with Rodgers having to deny rumours that the striker has gone AWOL just last week.
Illness was the given reason for Griffiths’ absence, but not even being named on the bench against Hearts left fans concerned about the striker’s situation once again.
Now, Rodgers has offered an update, telling the Daily Record that he isn’t sure when Griffiths will return, but he was with the squad today and was getting treatment with the medical team.

Rodgers noted that Celtic will see how Griffiths is over ‘the next few weeks’, suggesting Griffiths isn’t near a return, whilst noting Celtic have 10 players needing treatment right now.
“I’m not sure at this moment, we just take it day by day,” said Rodgers. “It’s a blow, Steven Naismith being out for Scotland and for Hearts but we just need to assess that. There is not a lot of time, that’s the only thing I would say. Certainly if Leigh was available he would be nowhere near match fit but we will see over the next few weeks where he is at.”
“He was here today, he was in the treatment room with the medical team. We have 10 injuries so our medical team are working hard with the players to get them back, but there is no timeline on it,” he added.
