Could Chelsea youngster Charly Musonda be Celtic’s next signing in the summer transfer window?
Scottish Premiership giants Celtic, who are aiming to progress to the group stage of the Champions League this season, have made two signings so far this summer.
The Glasgow giants have secured the services of 29-year-old winger Jonny Hayes from Scottish Premiership rivals Aberdeen.
The Bhoys have also recruited 19-year-old midfielder Kundai Benyu following the youngster’s departure from Ipswich Town.
Celtic manager Rodgers has revealed the kind of player he is looking to sign next for the Hoops.

“We have one we hope can get done very soon,” Rodgers told The Scottish Sun regarding his next summer signing. “He is a big, big talent. He will be a big player if we can get him in and we are hoping that will be concluded fairly soon.
“That will be great for us. It’s been something we’ve been looking at over a period of six months. Celtic have been great in trying to make it happen. If it happens, it will be a great level of quality.
“There’s no timescale or percentage on it. When it’s done it’s done. Good money will be spent on him. The player I’m talking about is of a substantial pedigree. Like I say, the club are doing really well to do that.”
