Pedro Caixinha’s Glasgow Rangers will face Celtic in the Scottish Cup this weekend.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has revealed to The Glasgow Evening Times his discussion with Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha earlier this week.
Rodgers and Caixinha met each other at Fir Park on Thursday night during the Under-17 clash between Celtic and Rangers.
“He’s coming into an interesting Scottish football league,” Rodgers told The Glasgow Evening Times about Caixinha. “He’s looked to put his stamp on it – let’s see if he gets my team right.
“I said to him it’s a great job but he knows what Celtic’s about because he worked for the club for three years. I’m sure he’s a football guy and a passionate guy and he’ll look forward to the game at the weekend.”
Celtic and Rangers will face each other this weekend. The Bhoys and the Gers will lock horns at Hampden Park in Glasgow in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup on Sunday afternoon.
Rodgers’s side will head into the tie as favourites, but Rangers’ recent form suggests that they can give their Old firm rivals a run for their money.
The Hoops have already won the Scottish Premiership title and the Scottish League Cup, and they are yet to suffer a competitive defeat in domestic competitions this season.
Rangers are unlikely to end up second in the Scottish Premiership this season, and the players will be determined to get the better of Celtic and keep their Scottish Cup chances alive.
