Celtic will be without defender Jozo Simunovic for the Bayern Munich clash.

Celtic have been dealt a massive blow ahead of their Champions League clash against Bayern Munich on Wednesday after defender Jozo Simunovic failed to recover from a hamstring injury.
Ahead of the match, Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers, has revealed in the press conference that the centre-back had a “slight reaction” to injury, and that he is unfortunately unavailable.

He added that the club are waiting on the MRI results, and he hopes that Simunovic won’t be out for a long time.
Simunovic hasn’t featured for Celtic since September and was also ruled out of Bosnia’s World Cup qualifiers earlier this month.
Celtic were hopeful that the 23-year-old would shake off the injury to face Bayern on Wednesday, but as it stands, he will out of action.

However, Celtic will be boosted by the return of the midfield duo of Scott Brown and Stuart Armstrong. Rodgers said that getting them back is a huge boost for the club, as both the players have different qualities.
