Nir Bitton returned to Celtic early this week, after being sent home by Israel’s national team.
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has insisted that he has never had a problem with Nir Bitton at his latest press conference.
Bitton was sent home from Israel’s training camp this week, after falling out with national team manager Elisha Levy.
Celtic midfielder Bitton had reportedly been told that he would be left on the substitutes bench for Israel’s match against Albania, and he reacted badly to the news (Daily Mail).

The central-midfielder was then sent back to Glasgow early, with his attitude called into question.
However, Rodgers has defended his player – and insists that Bitton has been exemplary professional during his time at Celtic.
Bitton has made 16 appearances for Celtic so far this season, and could start in Rodgers’ side next match.
Celtic are next in action on Friday evening when they take on Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.
The Bhoys are still unbeaten in domestic action this season, and they have built up a 10 point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
