Damien Duff is all set to become a Celtic coach in 2019.

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has told the Daily Mail that the club will confirm the arrival of Damien Duff as the club’s new development coach in the beginning of 2019.
The Bhoys are looking for a response against Motherwell this evening, having been beaten 2-0 at Hibernian on Sunday afternoon – and then seen Rangers go top of the Scottish Premiership table just hours later.
Fans are now keen to see Celtic make major moves in the January transfer window after a patchy first half of the season, but Celtic may first bring in a new coach.
The Scottish Sun reported last month that Celtic had been talking to Duff about a move to become their new Under-20 coach, and that appears to have gathered pace.
Duff was in the stands to watch Celtic take on Red Bull Salzburg last week, and it now seems that his move to Parkhead is all set to go through.

Ahead of tonight’s game, Rodgers was asked about the situation, and suggested that there is nothing to announce just yet, but the beginning of 2019 will see Duff’s appointment confirmed by Celtic.
“Nothing as of yet,” said Rodgers. “It will be the beginning of the year,” he added as he prepares to work with the former Chelsea and Blackburn Rovers man.
Duff, 39, has been in youth coaching with Shamrock Rovers and the Republic of Ireland, but now looks set to take charge of Celtic’s youngsters in an interesting move for the Bhoys, with Rodgers no doubt hoping that the former Premier League winger can help pass on some key experience to his young players.
