Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers brought Jason Cummings to Ibrox on loan from Nottingham Forest in the January transfer window.

The former Liverpool and Swansea City boss believes that Cummings, who joined Rangers on loan from Nottingham Forest in the January transfer window, is a bit like Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths.
Rodgers made the comments ahead of the Old Firm derby between Rangers and Celtic at Ibrox on Sunday afternoon.
“The boy [Jason] Cummings, he scores his goals, doesn’t he? A bit like Griff,” Rodgers told The Glasgow Evening Times.

Quality players
Griffiths is one of the best strikers in the Scottish Premiership and has been banging in the goals for years for Celtic.
The 27-year-old Scotland international is a key player in Rodgers’s side, who will fancy their chances of winning against Rangers in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.

Cummings struggled to make an impact Forest following his move from Hibernian in the summer of 2017.
The 22-year-old Scotland international is in good form at the moment and will be determined to score against Celtic if he gets the chance to feature in the Old Firm derby.
