Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has told The Scottish Sun that he expects interest in Kieran Tierney in the summer transfer window.
Tierney is one of the best young defenders in Europe and is one of the best left-backs in the Scottish Premiership.
The 19-year-old has established himself as a key figure in the current Celtic team and has played well for the Glasgow giants this season.

The Scotland international’s performances have seen Tierney linked with moves to a number of clubs in England.
According to The Daily Star, Liverpool, Arsenal and Newcastle United are interested in signing Tierney from Celtic in the summer transfer window.
Celtic manager Rodgers has spoken highly of Tierney, and has claimed that there would be interest in the talented teenager in the summer transfer window.
Rodgers, though, has made it clear that the defender loves playing for Celtic.
“He’s a super talented boy and there’s not too many left-backs in Europe that are talented as a 19-year-old to play for a big club,” Rodgers told The Scottish Sun. “He’s a Celtic player with another four years on his contract.
“He absolutely loves it here, but I would expect the very biggest clubs in the most competitive leagues to be very interested in him because he’s a huge talent.”
Rodgers’s comments should allay Celtic fans’ fear about Tierney. The former Liverpool manager’s comments suggest that the youngster is loving life at Celtic Park and is not angling for a move.
