Vakoun Issouf Bayo has just joined Celtic, with Brendan Rodgers hoping the attacker will improve his side’s front line.

Bayo has become Celtic’s most recent addition, with Rodgers moving quickly to improve his side’s attacking options this month.
And Rodgers says that Bayo is a player who is very well known to Toure.
“He’s a good signing and it’s another forward player for us, which increases our options on the front-line for the second part of the season,” he said.
“He’s a young player that has scored goals, he’s broken into the Ivory Coast national team, Kolo knows him well, and he’s a player we can develop. I’m looking forward to working with him.”

Bayo may be well known to Toure, but he is an unknown quantity to most Celtic supporters.
The 21-year-old has been playing in Slovakia, so will be making a big step at Parkhead.
Bayo appears to have good aerial ability, which makes him a different option from any other forward in Celtic’s squad.
And with Rodgers admitting that Odsonne Edouard has been overplayed, Bayo’s arrival should help take some of the goalscoring burden off the PSG man’s shoulders.
