Celtic are reportedly pursuing a deal for Timothy Weah.

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has told The Scottish Sun that he thinks Paris Saint-Germain striker Timothy Weah is a ‘very talented kid’.
The Bhoys beat Aberdeen 4-3 on Boxing Day, and with Rangers only drawing at home to Hibs, Celtic re-opened a three-point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
Rodgers’ side face a massive game against Old Firm rivals Rangers on Saturday, and then the January transfer window will be open.
Celtic certainly need signings, and whilst a right back could be key, signing at least one striker is absolutely paramount for Rodgers next month.
With Leigh Griffiths taking a break from football and Moussa Dembele sold to Lyon back in August, Odsonne Edouard is Celtic’s only recognised striker right now.
According to RMC Sport, Celtic are set to bring in PSG forward Weah on loan, with the 18-year-old looking for first-team football in 2019.

Now, Rodgers has praised Weah as being a ‘very talented kid’, but suggested there is nothing to add on a potential Celtic deal, remaining coy up to now.
“There is nothing to add, other than the fact he is the son of George, who was a very good player,” said Rodgers. “Of course we want to bring in some players in January and he is a very talented kid, but there is nothing else,” he added.
