Odsonne Edouard scored on his Celtic debut at Accies last night.

Brendan Rodgers has revealed to Celtic’s official website that his players gave new team-mate Odsonne Edouard “a massive round of applause” in the dressing room on Friday.
The Hoops bounced back from a draw with St Johnstone by winning 4-1 at Hamilton Academical last night.
Stuart Armstrong and a double from Scott Sinclair helped Celtic into a commanding 3-0 lead, before striker Edouard, on his debut after joining on a season-long loan from Paris Saint-Germain, rounded off the scoring.

The 19-year-old had a big opportunity, given that Leigh Griffiths and Moussa Dembele were both injured, and the PSG youngster certainly took it with both hands.
And Rodgers has told Celtic’s website that his new team-mates praised him in the dressing room at full time.
“I think Edouard was already up to speed when he arrived. He has all the physical attributes and qualities that I want, hence why we stick him in.

“The biggest complement he got tonight was a massive round of applause from the players and staff in the changing room. It’s been a great start to his Celtic career.”
Whether he will play regularly, however, is another thing.
In Griffiths and Dembele, Celtic have two of the most complete hitmen in Scottish football and it will be a big ask for Edouard to play on a regular basis.
