Odsonne Edouard hasn’t played for Celtic since September.

Brendan Rodgers has told The Sunday Post that a lack of game time has been “difficult” for Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard.
The 19-year-old joined Celtic on loan from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer but hasn’t kicked a ball for the Hoops since September.
Not only that, but the young Frenchman isn’t even a regular feature in Rodgers’s matchday squads due to Leigh Griffiths and Moussa Dembele’s presence in Glasgow.

Edouard has only managed two Premiership appearances, and scored in the 4-1 win at Hamilton back in August, and the Northern Irish manager admits it’s been a tough period for the rarely-seen striker.
“I have a young player on loan from Paris St Germain who has hardly featured, Odsonne Edouard, which is unfortunate for him because he has been working very hard and very well in training,” he told The Sunday Post.
“But because of the performance level of the two other players, it has been difficult for him.”

Celtic visit Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League tonight and it remains to be seen whether Rodgers picks Griffiths or Dembele to spearhead his side’s attack.
That being said, it might not matter too much. The French giants thumped the Hoops 5-0 in the reverse fixture two months ago and few would be surprised if a similar mauling occurs again.
