Odsonne Edouard joined Celtic on loan from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window.

Edouard joined Celtic on a season-long loan deal from PSG in the summer transfer window.
The 19-year-old forward has struggled for playing time so far this season, with Leigh Griffiths and Moussa Dembele ahead of him in the pecking order.
The Frenchman, though, turned on the style on Saturday afternoon, as he scored a hat-trick in the Hoops’ 5-1 hammering of Motherwell at Celtic Park.

Celtic manager Rodgers has suggested that he would like to sign Edouard at the end of the season.
The PSG-owned forward has also hinted that he wants to stay at the Glasgow giants for as long as he can.
Rodgers told The Daily Record: “He has really settled in now after having to bide his time. You can see the quality he has and there’s the possibility to sign him at the end of the loan.”
Edouard told The Scottish Sun: “I am very happy at Celtic. I have very welcoming team-mates and manager while the fans have been very good with me. I feel great — so I hope I can build on this feeling and stay as long as I can.”

Dembele is one of the best young strikers in Europe, and given his performances for Celtic, there is a very good chance that big clubs could come for him next summer.
Perhaps Rodgers is already looking ahead to next summer, and maybe Edouard could be the long-term successor to Dembele.
According to The Scottish Sun, AC Milan are interested in signing the French striker, who is claimed to be rated by Celtic at £20 million.
