Jamie Vardy and Harry Kane will be in action during the Premier League game between Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
Rodgers made the comments ahead of the Premier League game between Leicester and Tottenham at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Striker Vardy is set to lead the line for the home side, while his English compatriot Kane will feature for Spurs.
Former Liverpool and Celtic manager Rodgers has said that he would not swap Vardy for Kane, who is one of the best strikers in the world and is valued at €150 million (£132.38m) by the CIES Football Observatory.
Rodgers told Sky Sports: “Harry is a top, top player but I wouldn’t swap Jamie. I have worked closely with Jamie for some time now and there’s not many in world football you would swap him for.
“He’s just got this incredible knack in terms of pressing the game and reading the game, and tactically he is so good.
“He has that hunger and that appetite, desire and speed to get in behind and stretch the game and score. I like that kind of striker.”

Kane is a better and more consistent striker than Vardy and is younger as well, but the latter fits the way that Leicester play under Rodgers.
Vardy, 32 has scored three goals and provided one assist in five Premier League matches so far this season, while in 2018-19, the Englishman scored 18 goals and provided four assists in 30 league starts, according to WhoScored.
According to WhoScored, Kane, 26 has scored three goals and provided one assist in five league matches for Spurs so far this campaign, while last season, the striker scored 17 goals and provided four assists in 27 league starts.
