Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has reportedly spoken to a January transfer target.

The Scottish Premiership will head into a mid-season winter break at the end of December, and during that period Celtic will be training in Dubai.
Rodgers has said that he would like to make a signing by then so that he is able to work with him during the break.
According to The Scottish Sun, Celtic manager Rodgers has already spoken to a January transfer window.
Rodgers told The Scottish Sun: “Every manager will tell you that you want to do deals done early if you can.
“Ideally, you want to take players away to your mid-season training camp, bed them in and do some good work with them, and get some feel for mentality. That is ideally what you want to do. So we will see.”

Message for Celtic board?
Making signings take time, and it makes sense why Celtic manager Rodgers would want to bring in a player by the time he flies his squad out to Dubai.
Rodgers’s aforementioned comments are probably a message for Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell to make signings early in the January transfer window.
After all, it takes time for a player to develop an understanding with his new teammates and adapt to a new way of playing.
