Celtic beat Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers 1-0 at Hampden Park yesterday.

Brendan Rodgers has told the Glasgow Evening Times that Scott Brown ‘dominated’ Rangers in the latest Old-Firm derby.
Brown has enjoyed a wonderful run of form since Rodgers took charge at Celtic, and he led by example once again yesterday.
The combative midfielder was at the heart of everything good Celtic did during the contest, which they won 1-0, and Rodgers paid tribute to Brown after the match.

“He totally dominated the middle of the field,” Rodgers said. “Firstly, defensively he orchestrated the game but his pressing, pressure and physicality was great.
“Then we saw his quality too. He makes the team tick and plays the ball forward. He really dominated in there.”
Brown was regularly seen barging Rangers players off the ball, with Mark Warburton’s side struggling to cope with his power.

Brown’s aggression helped Celtic have the better of the match, as they created chance after chance against Mark Warburton’s side.
In truth Celtic could have won by a greater margin, but Rangers goalkeeper Matt Gilks was in inspired form as he fended off a number of attacks.
Celtic’s pressure did eventually tell in the closing stages, when Moussa Dembele netted the winner to cause heartbreak in the Rangers end.
Celtic will now take on Aberdeen in the final of the Scottish League Cup next month.
