Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has revealed to The Scottish Sun an interaction he had with a Rangers fan.

Rodgers was appointed the Celtic manager in the summer of 2016, and he has done a wonderful job so far.

The former Liverpool manager has already guided the Bhoys to the Scottish Premiership and the Scottish League Cup this season.

The Glasgow giants also made it through to the group stage of the Champions League this campaign.

Celtic have progressed to the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup as well where they will take Old Firm rivals Rangers.

Rodgers has revealed an interesting encounter with a Rangers fan while stating that he has been enjoying himself in Glasgow.

“I remember sitting in traffic in the Clyde Tunnel,” Rodgers told The Scottish Sun. “There was an incident which meant all the cars were stopped. I saw this guy coming out of his car in a blue top and I thought: ‘Here we go’.

“But he said: ‘I just wanted to say thank you for coming up to Scottish football. I’m a Rangers supporter but you are a breath of fresh air up here.’ So I thought: ‘Right, get me out of this tunnel quick!’ No, it has been great.”

Rodgers has been superb for Celtic and for Scottish football. The former Swansea City manager has taken the club to a whole new level.

Rangers have been unable to compete with the Bhoys this season, but one suspects that they will step up their game next campaign.
