Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has admitted to the club’s official website that it would be a huge loss if Scott Sinclair was to miss the League Cup final with Aberdeen.
Sinclair has been a big hit at Celtic Park this season since arriving from Aston Villa with ten goals in 18 games to his name so far.
He could be set to miss their big clash with Aberdeen on Sunday, though, after being forced off at half-time in their midweek game against Barcelona in the Champions League.
So far it has not been determined if that will rule him out this weekend and Rodgers admits it would be a huge loss if he were to miss out.
“He would be a big miss,” he told the club’s official website.
“He has come up here and has done what I expected him to do in terms of his quality. He has big quality, he works hard, very robust and mentally strong, and he has obviously been a very important member of our team.”

It will certainly be interesting to see how Rodgers plans to line up his team should Sinclair end up being ruled out.
He has a number of options available to him in midfield but it is arguable that none of them offer the same sort of dynamism and direct threat that the winger does.
One option could be to bring Leigh Griffiths back into the fold alongside Moussa Dembele in a forward duo that would cause more than a few problems for their opponents.
