The midfielder has been in fine form for Celtic this season.
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has told the Daily Mail that Scott Brown’s change in approach has been key to his improved form this season.
The midfielder has been in fine form for the Scottish champions this season as they have impressed under their new manager.
He was in top form once again on Saturday as his side beat second-placed Aberdeen 1-0 at Pittodrie to go nine points clear at the top of the table.
Celtic’s Scott Brown
Brown’s decision to retire from international football with Scotland has widely been credited with his upturn in form, with many believing the extra rest has helped him find another level in his game.
Rodgers, though, says it is the midfielder’s change in attitude that has helped him to perform so well.
“It’s not just about not playing for Scotland, it’s his overall approach to the game, his life,” he told the Daily Mail.
“If he was going to reach the levels over the next few years that I thought he could, he had to change his approach to the game. It’s a great credit to him that he has done that.”

The Hoops will now be hoping that Brown can continue his strong form for the remainder of the season.
They are fighting on all fronts at present, with games in the Scottish Premiership, Champions League and a Scottish League Cup final coming up.
That sees them enjoying a busy schedule of 14 games before the turn of the year and they will need the likes of Brown competing at his best throughout that period.
