On-loan West Bromwich Albion defender Brendan Galloway has said he will fight for his place in the first team.
The luxury of having options is something that West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis will be yearning for this season, and hearing the news that players are willing to fight for places in the starting XI will be music to the ears of the 58-year-old Welshman. As reported by Express & Star, on-loan defender Brendan Galloway has stated that he is fully prepared to fight for his place at The Hawthorns for the duration of his spell at the club.

The 20-year-old started his Baggies career off well with a solid performance against Middlesbrough, however in the weeks that followed he looked nervous in games against the likes of West Ham and Bournemouth.
As a result Pulis decided to play Allan Nyom in place of Galloway, which is a decision that has spurred the youngster in wanting to win his place back.

“I’m going to try and work my hardest to get back in the team because that’s where I want to be,” said Galloway. “I want to be playing week in week out for West Brom.”
“I’m working with a really good manager and a really good bunch of players so for my development, it’s perfect,” he said.
Galloway also played a part in the England U21s 5-0 victory over Bosnia & Herzegovnia this week as he continues to try and impress for both club and country.
