Luke Garbutt has not featured at all for Everton so far this season.

Garbutt was left out of Everton’s Premier League squad, but is currently their only available senior left-back.
There has been appeals from Everton fans for Garbutt to be given a chance, but if Galloway is brought back to Goodison Park, then his chances at the Toffees will surely be all but over.

Galloway has spent the entire season out on loan at Sunderland so far, and if he was to return and move ahead of Garbutt in the pecking order, it would say a lot about the lack of faith Allardyce has in the 24-year-old defender.
Allardyce has suggested that Garbutt has not even been training with Everton’s first-team, but he will be assessed over the coming weeks.

But if Galloway is recalled, it will surely be the signal to Garbutt that he needs to leave Everton to advance his career.
