Aston Villa fans have reacted on Twitter to Caleb Chukwuemeka winning the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award for September.

The 19-year-old was purchased by Villa in the summer, when he joined his younger brother, Carney, after swapping Northampton Town for the Midlands.

It has been a blistering start from the hard-hitting forward, who scored five goals in three games for Villa’s U23’s.

Villa fans were delighted to seen Caleb recognised in such a fashion and they think there are big things to come for the player.

Whilst his brother has been earning Premier League minutes this season, including starting his side’s 1-1 draw against Brentford, it’s a waiting game for Caleb.

But given how he is performing, it won’t be too long before he is donning the pitch and playing senior minutes.

The problem that faces Caleb Chukwuemeka is that he has Ollie Watkins, Danny Ings and fellow teenager Cameron Archer ahead of him in the pecking order.

One thing is for sure, he is proving to be too good for the younger age group and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he’s loaned out in January.

Either way, the future is bright in B6 and the youngsters are performing and producing the goods all over the place.

Perhaps Caleb’s younger brother or Archer are closer to the first-team than most, but either way, after winning the FA Youth Cup last season, it wouldn’t be a surprise if more trophies are won by the Villa young guns this season.
