Some Liverpool fans on social media have been reacting to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth’s claim that Erling Haaland would love to play for Jurgen Klopp.
The journalist says that Liverpool are in the race to sign the Norway international this summer, but any deal that is to be struck comes down to finances and the club’s desire to bring him in.
Sheth claims that Haaland would actually love to play for Klopp, and as you can imagine that’s got a lot of Liverpool fans talking.
Indeed, supporters got very excited about the prospect of the striker joining Liverpool, and it doesn’t take the greatest footballing mind to understand why.
Haaland is undoubtedly one of the best strikers in the world, netting 17 league goals already this season, and if he joins the Reds he will certainly improve what is already one of the deadliest frontlines in the world.
Of course, whether or not this deal gets over the line remains to be seen, Haaland is being coveted by some of Europe’s biggest clubs, so signing him won’t be straightforward, but the prospect of him arriving at Anfield has a lot of Reds supporters excited.
