Everton are reportedly in contact with Guus Hiddink.

Everton’s search for a new manager goes on, and a new name has been linked over the last 24 hours – former Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink.
After a 5-2 defeat at home to Arsenal last month, Everton chose to sack manager Ronald Koeman following a run of five defeats in nine Premier League games.
The Dutchman failed to kick on after being handed signings such as Jordan Pickford, Michael Keane, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Wayne Rooney, but caretaker boss David Unsworth isn’t faring much better.

Unsworth has over seen two defeats in two games since Koeman’s exit, and his chances of landing the job are dwindling – especially with new links to other managers.
The Mirror now report that Everton have made contact with Guus Hiddink over coming in as manager, which would be somewhat ironic given that Hiddink actually managed Koeman at PSV Eindhoven in the 1980’s.
Hiddink, 70, was last in management in 2016 having replaced Jose Mourinho as Chelsea boss, and the Dutchman may fancy one last crack at Premier League management with the Toffees.

Unsurprisingly, Everton fans have taken to Twitter to react to the reports, suggesting that they would be happy to see Hiddink take charge until the end of the season, giving them a chance to stabilise before moving for Marco Silva of Watford next summer.
Some urged Everton to break the bank to get Hiddink, claiming he would be an ideal appointment to steady the ship and a much better option than other linked managers such as Sean Dyche and Sam Allardyce.
