Girona loanee Savio enjoyed a fine performance on Saturday just days after opening up on Arsenal’s interest in signing him.
Arsenal will have surely been impressed if they are still keeping tabs on Girona talent Savio.
We know that Edu likes signing Brazilian talent having brought in Gabriel Martinelli from Ituano in 2019.
Edu struck again in 2022, bringing winger Marquinhos to Arsenal having shown promise at Sao Paulo.
Add in deals for the likes of Gabriel Magalhaes and Gabriel Jesus and it’s clear that Edu has brought a real Brazilian flavour to North London.

Savio has admitted Arsenal interest
Another Brazilian on Arsenal’s radar in recent times is wide man Savio.
The 19-year-old told SPORT just a couple of days ago that Arsenal tried to sign him from Atletico Mineiro.
It was suggested that Arsenal were trying to sign Savio, just like Brazilian side Red Bull Bragantino.
Savio picked a move to Troyes though, choosing to sign with the City Football Group rather than Arsenal.
The youngster spent last season on loan at PSV Eindhoven but endured a difficult season in the Netherlands.
Savio has now been farmed out to Girona in an attempt to get back on track – and it seems to be working.

Savio impressing for Girona
Girona faced Mallorca in La Liga on Saturday with Savio starting down the left flank.
Savio produced a superb display, first producing an outstanding run down the left flank to set up Ivan Martin to make it 3-1 to Girona.
The Brazil Under-20 international made it 5-1 after the break, exchanging passes with Artem Dovbyk before firing home.
Mallorca did get a couple of late goals back, but this was Girona’s day as they ran out 5-3 winners.
Savio’s pace and direct ability were on display as he proved to be a constant menace for the Mallorca back line.
It’s only just over a year since Edu wanted Savio at Arsenal, and the Gunners will surely have been impressed if they are still watching him in Spain.
