West Ham fans will be hoping their international stars can build up momentum over the summer ahead of a new season under a new manager.
Julen Lopetegui has taken the reins at the London Stadium ahead of next season after David Moyes ended his five-year spell as manager.
The new Hammers boss will be eagerly watching his new squad away on international duty as he prepares for the upcoming Premier League campaign.
West Ham have four players out at the 2024 Euros while Michail Antonio, Edson Alvarez and Lucas Paqueta jetted off to represent their nations at the Copa America.
Alvarez’s campaign with Mexico started horribly with the 26-year-old leaving the pitch in tears against Jamaica with a hamstring injury.
Paqueta’s Brazil side opened their group with a disappointing goalless draw against Costa Rica on Tuesday morning, but the West Ham star was one of their standout performers.

Paqueta was named in the starting lineup for Brazil’s opener as part of a star-studded attack that included Raphinha, Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior.
Brazil dominated possession but were unable to find the opener with Paqueta coming closest to breaking the deadlock when his shot rebounded off the woodwork.
The Rio Times heaped praise on Paqueta’s performance, writing “Lucas Paqueta dazzled, slicing through defenses without landing the final blow.”
Brazilian outlet Globo gave the 26-year-old playmaker a rating of 6.5 – the joint-highest in the Brazil side – they added: “He found solutions in short space and created good scoring opportunities.”
The praise continued with Estadao writing, “Lucas Paqueta became the main athlete on the field, with beautiful passes and risky shots.”

All eyes and ears will be on the outcome of Lucas Paqueta’s betting charges as he is an essential part of this West Ham side.
The Irons looked void of creativity and ideas when he was not on the pitch last season.
