Felipe Anderson has not got the respect his performances for West Ham have deserved this season.

The Hammers star has been among the Premier League’s best players and he has justified the club spending big to sign him from Lazio.

Liverpool have reportedly taken notice, with The Mail reporting he is emerging as an option for the club.

Anderson would be an excellent addition for Liverpool, and there is one reason in particular he should seek out a move, his international ambitions.

The attacker has recently been snubbed by Brazil, not named in their Copa America squad.

Anderson being able to rest up this summer is a positive for West Ham, but it could have downside for them too.

A move to Liverpool would give Anderson the platform to play in the Champions League and challenge for silverware.

Playing alongside Roberto Firmino, he would become impossible for Brazil to ignore.

West Ham know all too well how hard it can be holding onto a top player when he wants to move on, so they will have to hope Anderson has confidence he can still achieve his international ambitions in London, without having to quit to do it.
