Liverpool midfielder played at right-back for Brazil.
Brazil manager Tite has praised Liverpool star Fabinho after his role in their international win over USA.
Fabinho was picked in a surprise role at right-back, a departure from his usual midfield role.
Fabinho excelled by winning a penalty in Brazil’s 2-0 win and keeping a clean sheet.
The £43.7 million signing from Monaco has had a slow start for the Reds so far and has not made a Premier League appearance.
Tite was quoted by Telefoot stating: “Fabinho has the DNA of a defender. I talked to him before when I got him on the phone and he said, “There is no problem with that. In the first period Fabinho adapted to his position. Then he played more liberated, with quality in his passes.
“He initiated the game. I told the players to regularly look for Fabinho, because the more we participate in the game, the more we trust him.”

Just getting game time is a boost for the Liverpool star and the way he re-adapted to the position showed his quality, with Fabinho previously playing at full-back in his early time at Monaco.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has a big decision to make whether to bring Fabinho in to face Tottenham at the weekend.
His most recent performance for his country suggests he would not let his club down if called upon for the big game.
