Ask any Liverpool fan, and they will tell you that Trent Alexander-Arnold is the best right-back in the world.
Ask Gary Lineker, and he will (probably) tell you that Trent Alexander-Arnold is the best right-back in the world.
Ask Don Hutchison, and he will certainly tell you that Trent Alexander-Arnold is the best right-back in the world.
Ask Cafu, and he will tell you that Trent Alexander-Arnold is NOT the best right-back in the world.
Cafu’s verdict
In an interview with Marca, Brazil, AS Roma and AC Milan legend Cafu has named Paris Saint-Germain’s Achraf Hakimi and Dani Carvajal of Real Madrid as the two best right-backs on the planet.
Cafu told Marca when asked who the best right-back is now: “I really like Achraf, from PSG, and Carvajal. Dani seems very good to me.”

What about Trent Alexander-Arnold?
Now, as you can see from Cafu’s answer above, the Champions League and World Cup winner actually does not mention Alexander-Arnold by name.
But, we still thought to bring you his comments.
After all, Cafu is one of the best right-backs of all time.
Some would even say that Cafu is the greatest right-back the world has ever seen.

His opinion and comments on a right-back matter.
Now, we all have our opinion on Alexander-Arnold.
What we all can agree on is that Alexander-Arnold – who earns £180,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac – is one of the best right-backs in the world.
And he can only get better.
After all, the Liverpool academy graduate is only 23.
