The Swedish midfielder, who scored the winner against the Hawthorns has a stammer and is deservedly being lauded for having the confidence to speak after his brilliant brace on Monday night.

The 29-year-old’s video has gone viral online and for good reason, as he has taken a major step to break a stigma around disability in football, which cannot be lauded enough.
Carlos Corberan was seemingly inspired by the video as well, as he sent a message addressed to Ken Sema on Twitter, tweeting, “In football, as in life, facing up to difficulties makes us stronger. The bravery to tackle challenges inspires a lot of people.”
There is not a single soul that would disagree with Leeds United’s former managerial target’s wise words.

While things have improved in the sense of trying to make football inclusive for individuals suffering with all types of challenges, there is still plenty of room for improvement and work to be done.
As a result, it is heart-warming to see Carlos Corberan recognise this way and go out of his way to laud Ken Sema on Twitter.
Being frustrated about his side’s result and the latter’s role in it would be a juvenile mindset to have, as some things are way bigger than the beautiful game and that includes such a brave effort to inspire and initiate conversation amongst countless number of fans worldwide.
