Everton fans have taken to Twitter to Twitter to react after Paris Saint-Germain’s sporting director Leonardo Araujo discussed the finer details of Moise Kean’s loan agreement.
RMC Sport quote the 51-year-old as saying: ‘We don’t have an option to buy for Moise Kean, unfortunately. He’s here on a dry loan from Everton. Kean is a great striker also for the future, but loan deals in UK are a bit different – buy option is not included in our deal.’
This should come as welcome news to the Toffees, who may have been fearing the worst if they had handed the Parisians an option-to-buy.
The French champions signed Kean on a season-long loan deal back in the summer, following a disappointing debut campaign for the Italy international on Merseyside.
He netted just two goals following his £25.1 million move from Juventus, where he signed a contract worth £2,765,000-a-year, or £53,173-a-week according to Spotrac.

However, since linking up with Thomas Tuchel at the Parc des Princes, Kean has been on fire.
The 20-year-old has scored seven goals in 11 games, including two goals in three Champions League outings.
It leaves Everton and Marcel Brands in a fantastic negotiating position.
PSG will now have to stump up a suitable fee to sign Kean permanently if they want to do so.

If not, then Carlo Ancelotti will welcome back a young prospect full of confidence to use next season.
It truly is a win-win situation for the Toffees.
Let’s see how the Everton fans on Twitter reacted to Leonardo’s comments…
