Everton have loaned out three attacking players, but it’s unclear whether they’ll play for the club in the future.

Marcel Brands has enjoyed a great start to life as Everton’s director of football, having helped add major quality to Marco Silva’s squad at Goodison Park.
The Toffees brought in Brands to oversee their transfers, and he responded by landing Lucas Digne, Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes from Barcelona, as well as Joao Virginia, Kurt Zouma, Bernard and Richarlison in a productive summer window.
Brands will be looking for new signings constantly, with the January transfer window right around the corner, but he will also have decisions to make about three Everton-owned talents.
Brands’ predecessor Steve Walsh brought wingers Nikola Vlasic and Henry Onyekuru to Everton as well as versatile forward Sandro, hoping the trio would be exciting forwards for Everton moving forward.
However, the trio have all been loaned out this season, and their futures are up in the air; Onyekuru is a tough decision for Brands. The Nigerian is currently with Galatasaray, but is attracting major interest ahead of his return to Everton next summer.
With a work permit still not available for him, Everton may well be tempted to sell next summer, and that leaves Walsh with a major dilemma to make; hang on and wait for him to gain a work permit, or sell and reinvest in somebody who can make a more immediate impact.

Vlasic is a different kind of dilemma in that he is impressing with CSKA Moscow, but has been making noises that he wants to move on permanently having failed to convince Silva over the summer, and Everton could make a huge profit if they choose to sell.
Sandro is the easiest call, as the Spaniard failed to impress last season and is struggling for success with Real Sociedad, meaning that he is likely to move on permanently come the end of the season – if somebody will take him.
Brands must make his decisions on the trio this season, and having been tipped for bright futures after Walsh signed them, there is a very real chance that all three will be sold next summer in a surprise turn of events.
