Brahimi comments on future amid Wolves, Everton, Newcastle speculation

Wolverhampton Wanderers, Everton and Newcastle United reportedly wanted FC Porto star Yacine Brahimi.

According to A Bola, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Everton and Newcastle United are interested in signing Yacine Brahimi from FC Porto in the summer transfer window.

Brahimi is one of the best players in the Portuguese league, and he is versatile as well, having the ability to operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger.

The 28-year-old scored nine goals and provided seven assists in 32 league starts for Porto, according to WhoScored.

It would be quite a coup for Wolves, Everton or Newcastle if they are able to secure the services of the Algeria international, but it seems that the former Granada star is not thinking of leaving Porto in the summer transfer window.

Brahimi told Mais Futebol: “I am part of the club, I have a contract, and I believe that for FC Porto it is of great happiness that the Conceicao has renewed his contract.”

When asked if he will stay at Porto next season, Brahimi said: “As I said, I have another year of contract.”

Could FC Porto exit happen?

Brahimi seems to be willing to honour his contract at Porto at the moment, but money talks.

If Wolves, Everton or Newcastle make an offer to the Portuguese giants that they cannot reject, then the winger could be on the move.

Moreover, playing in the Premier League could be a temptation for Brahimi should he get a favourable offer.
