After a turbulent start to their 2016/17 campaign, things are slowly starting to improve for Swansea City as new manager Bob Bradley attempts to lead them away from the relegation zone.

Some fans have voiced their concern regarding the appointment meanwhile others have backed the American, but either way it seems as if the mood around the Liberty Stadium is much more positive. As reported by the South Wales Evening Post, the 58-year-old has said that he wants supporters to be excited about watching them play again.

Bradley’s first game in charge did not exactly go to plan with a 3-2 loss away to Arsenal, however his side definitely showed some fighting spirit that seemed to be lacking in previous weeks. Now, he is preparing for his first home game against Watford this weekend.

“Home form is vital,” he said to the South Wales Evening Post.

“We have got to take points at home.

“We have got to feel the pride and the power of the home supporters and we have to give them something back in return.

“I want them to be excited to watch our football and see that the players are giving everything for the club and for them.”

Despite the initial worries about the appointment, the best thing Swans fans can do now is get behind their new man as they attempt to avoid dropping back down to the second tier.

Whether or not Bradley will be able to manage under the Premier League style of play remains to be seen, but he certainly has the quality in his squad necessary to succeed.
