Leeds United host Derby County in the Championship this evening.
Bradley Johnson of Derby celebrates
Derby County midfielder Bradley Johnson has told the club’s official website that he thinks Leeds United’s fans are ‘terrific’, and tonight’s game between the two teams will be played with a good atmosphere.
The Rams head to Elland Road this evening having won their last three Championship games on the bounce, including Saturday’s 2-1 win away at Norwich City.
Gary Rowett’s men are starting to hit their stride, and they can leapfrog tonight’s opponents Leeds United in the play-off places with a win at Elland Road.

Whilst Derby are thriving of late, the same can’t be said for Leeds, who lost 2-1 at home to Sheffield United on Friday night, as manager Thomas Christiansen attempts to get his side back on track.
Leeds dropped just four points in their first seven games, but have now lost five of the seven games since then, claiming just six points over that run.
The Whites need to get back to some sort of consistency, but they face a tough challenge tonight against such an impressive, in-form Derby side.

Tonight’s game will mean a lot to one Derby player, as ex-Leeds midfielder Bradley Johnson will again face his former club, and he has told the club’s official website that he is expecting a ‘hostile game’.
Johnson added that he thinks Leeds fans are ‘terrific’, and whilst Leeds will be keen to hit back after losing to Sheffield United, the is hopeful that Derby can return from West Yorkshire with all three points.
“The fans up there are terrific, they’ve got a great fanbase, but our away fans make a lot of noise and I’m sure it will be a hostile game,” said Johnson. “They’ll want a reaction after their result on Friday, so hopefully it’ll be a good game with a good atmosphere and we can get the three points,” he added.
