Tottenham Hotspur won against Arsenal in the North London derby on Saturday.

Tottenham Hotspur got the better of Arsenal at home in the North London derby earlier today.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side headed into the Premier League game at the Wembley Stadium in London as favourites, and they picked up all three points from the encounter.
England international striker Harry Kane’s goal in the 49th minute proved to be the difference between the two North London rivals.
Bradley Allen was following the match for BBC Sport, and the 46-year-old Tottenham academy coach gave his opinion on the performances of midfielders Dele Alli and Jack Wilshere.

While 21-year-old Alli featured for Tottenham, his England international teammate and 26-year-old Wilshere lined up for Wilshere.
Allen told BBC Sport (14:11): “It was almost an unsung performance from Dele Alli today, he’s done a lot of running and a lot of dirty work.”
“I thought Jack Wilshere played admirably today, he really tried to lead Arsenal, when he wasn’t getting a lot of help from his team-mates,” Allen told BBC Sport (14:32). “He just gets better every time I see him.”
| Passing Accuracy | Tackles Won | Interceptions Won | Ball Recovery | Touches | Shots on Target | Goal Assist | Goals | Mins Played | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jack Wilshere | 82% | 1 | 0 | 2 | 53 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 90 |
| Dele Alli | 66% | 2 | 0 | 7 | 51 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 85 |

Good performances?
Alli’s performances so far this season have been mixed, but the Tottenham midfielder’s display in the North London derby was encouraging enough.
Although the England international did miss a good chance in the second half, the youngster’s overall performance was good.
As for Wilshere, the 26-year-old was not at his best, but the England international still forced Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris into making a good save.
