After the pain of losing in the play-off semi final, Bradford City look strong contenders for another promotion push this season.
After picking up 12 wins across February, March and April, Bradford City manager Phil Parkinson had guided the Bantams to a 5th place finish, and a chance at promotion via the play-offs.

Facing off against Neil Harris’ Millwall, the game would be a huge test for Parkinson’s side, who burst up the table late in the season.
After losing the first leg 3-1, Bradford City dropped out of the play-offs after a 1-1 draw in the second leg, leaving them to lick their wounds, rue their chances and rebuild for next season.
The summer would be one full of change for Bradford City, as the club lost both their manager and their star striker, Jamie Proctor, to Bolton Wanderers.
However, wasting no time in bringing their new man in, the Bantams turned their attention to former Motherwell, Rangers and Scotland coach, Stuart McCall.

Now sitting 4th in League One, hot on the heels of former manager Phil Parkinson’s Bolton Wanderers, Bradford City are pushing for promotion once again this season, and haven’t looked like slowing down one bit under Stuart McCall. Should they be able to spend a bit of money in the January transfer window, there’s a good chance that 2017 might be the year to heal the heartache of the play-offs for Bantams fans.
