Bradford City fans appear to be completely divided about the standard of Kevin Toner’s performance against Scunthorpe United yesterday.

Bradford were beaten 3-2 by Scunthorpe in their most recent outing, in what was a pulsating encounter.

The Bantams actually had the better of the chances at Glanford Park, but a combination of wasteful finishing and poor defending cost them.

Bradford fans were fuming at their backline for giving away so many cheap goals, but Toner avoided criticism from some supporters.

A lot of Bradford’s fans praised the centre-back’s debut performance, but some others felt he was poor.

Bradford’s defeat to the Iron was a damaging one for their automatic promotion hopes.

Stuart McCall’s side will now surely have to settle for a place in the play offs, if they are to get promoted.

Bradford’s next match comes against Walsall, and it remains to be seen whether Toner will keep his place in their side.
