Rangers took Thomas Isherwood on trial over the summer.

Rangers were busy in the summer transfer window, making 14 signings before then adding Gareth McAuley on a free transfer in September.
With more than 20 players offloaded too, the Gers went under a full-scale overhaul under new manager Steven Gerrard, and with just three defeats so far, the revolution has mostly been successful.
There were some targets who didn’t make the move to Ibrox though, and even a trialist who failed to win a contract with Rangers.
Defender Thomas Isherwood joined Rangers for training, as reported by the Daily Record, and attempted to earn a deal under Gerrard, even returning for a second trial at the end of May.
However, Gerrard chose not to sign the Swedish defender, who was released by German giants Thomas Isherwood at the end of last season, before the 20-year-old earned a deal with Bradford City.

Seen as one for the future, Isherwood has made a big step up from Bayern Munich II to League One football, and it seems that fans aren’t impressed.
Bradford fans have recently taken to Twitter to slate Isherwood’s performances, questioning just who allowed him to be signed in the first place, even harshly claiming that he should quit football or only be playing in Sunday League football – all suggesting that Gerrard made the right decision not signing him over the summer.
