Bradford City fans feel that Newcastle United loanee Alex Gilliead is being wasted in his current position.

Since Simon Grayson has taken charge at Bradford, Gilliead has been used in a number 10 role, but he has not impressed.

The Newcastle youngster has been unable to show much creativity, with the Bantams’ form taking a turn for the worse.

Bradford were beaten 2-0 by Doncaster Rovers last night, as their play off chances took another blow.

And Bradford fans now feel that the Newcastle loanee is being wasted in his current position, as they would prefer him to play out wide.

Gilliead has played a key role at Bradford since joining from Newcastle in the summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old has made 31 League One appearances, scoring once and creating two goals.

Bradford are currently in 11th place in the League One table, seven points away from the play off spots.
