The Sheffield United striker’s release was announced on Friday, sparking interest from supporters of Bradford City and Rotherham United, among others.

Fans of several clubs, including Bradford City and Rotherham United, are keen on signing Clayton Donaldson after the striker’s release was confirmed by Sheffield United on Friday.
Donaldson only moved to Bramall Lane from Birmingham City last summer, and scored or assisted five goals in nine starts for the Blades, who finished just outside the Championship play-offs.

But at 34, the Jamaican’s future is likely to lie further down the leagues and, geographically at least, moves to either Rotherham or Bradford – Donaldson’s hometown team – could appeal.
The following fans of said clubs will certainly hope that’s the case…
Donaldson is one of two players being released by Sheffield United, along with forgotten defender Chris Hussey.
The Blades have also transfer listed seven, including their former Bradford striker James Hanson and the recent Rotherham loanee Caolan Lavery.
Would the former Sheffield United striker be a good addition for Bradford / Rotherham?
