Conor Coady has stated ‘Sunday’s don’t get much better’ after he scored the winner for Wolves against Everton at Goodison Park, as the boyhood Liverpool fan posted on his Instagram.

Everton are in an absolute mess and the last thing they needed is an ex-Liverpool player rocking up to Merseyside to further dampen their relegation woes.

After his bullet header helped Wolves secure all three points yesterday, this is what Coady posted on his IG.

Everton are in a complete and utter mess, as relegation for the first time is staring them right in the face.

The Wolves match would have been one Frank Lampard would have been targeting to secure a much-needed win.

Instead, they are in deeper trouble and they will now face a Newcastle team that have only lost twice since December – against Man City and recently Chelsea.

In April, the Toffees will make the short trip to Anfield to face-off against Liverpool.

There’s no doubt that the Reds will still be in a Premier League title battle, so they will have worries of their own.

But this is the last thing Everton need because they don’t want their rivals to send them along their way.

Whilst Lampard would have had his fair share of battles as a player and come out on top most of the time.

This is a different story because, the way his side are going, they will have relegation on their CV.
