Liverpool’s Luis Suarez has a famous fan.
In ‘You couldn’t make it up’ news of the day, Liverpool’s Luis Suarez is now being followed on Twitter by none other than… Mike Tyson.
Tyson is notorious for biting the ear of opponent Evander Holyfield, requiring his victim to have surgery to repair it.
He later claimed it was ‘revenge’ for a headbutt, but the incident saw him banned from boxing for life, although he would later see his licence re-instated a year later.
The now former boxer certainly has a sense of humour about it, for he is following football’s most famous ‘biter’ Luis Suarez on Twitter.
Suarez is likely to be in hot water with the FA after appearing to bite the arm of Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic, and has form – receiving a seven game ban for biting an opponent in Holland.
