Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser admits he is flattered to be linked with a big-money move to Arsenal this summer, speaking to Sky Sports.

The Mirror broke the news earlier this week that the Scotland international is on the Gunners’ radar with head coach Unai Emery aiming to sign a winger this summer.

Fraser has certainly enjoyed a fine season, scoring seven goals and setting up 11 more while starring in a jet-heeled Bournemouth front three alongside Josh King and England international Callum Wilson.

Yet, suggestions that Fraser could be on his way to The Emirates have still raised plenty of eyebrows with the 25-year-old himself seemingly taken by surprise.

“I’m not going to lie, it’s very nice. It means you are are doing something right,” Fraser said.

“They are a huge club, a massive club. When you see your name thrown around you always think to yourself that you are a Bournemouth player and you try to do well.

“I’m not going to lie, you do feel good, especially when it’s a massive club.”

The Mirror reports that Arsenal will face competition from North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, who have also scouted the diminutive wideman in recent months.

Fraser, a former Aberdeen youngster who is enjoying the best goalscoring season of his career, is reported to be just one winger Arsenal are looking at with Football London claiming Genk’s Lucas Trossard and Boca Juniors’ Christian Pavon are also options.
