According to a report by Italian transfer expert, Gianluca Di Marzio, AFC Bournemouth have made an offer to sign Roma midfielder, Nicolo Zaniolo for £26.4 million.
Bournemouth make offer to sign Zaniolo
Only recently, it was reported that the Italian midfielder had agreed personal terms with Tottenham Hotspur.
However, it seems Bournemouth are hell-bent on bolstering their side in January, after adding Dango Ouattara to their ranks by tabling an offer for Nicolo Zaniolo.
The report details that on Wednesday, AC Milan had made their first contacts to potentially complete a deal for the 23-year-old, described as ‘extraordinary’ by Jose Mourinho (via the club’s official YouTube channel).
But Di Marzio has reported that aside from the £26.4 million offer made by Bournemouth for Nicolo Zaniolo, they have also provided additional perks like bonuses and 10% on any future resale to persuade Roma to sell one of their prized assets.

As a result, the Serie A giants are ‘ready’ to ‘close’ the deal for the silky technician with the Premier League club.
Now, the decision is ultimately on Zaniolo on whether he is content with playing for Gary O’Neil’s Bournemouth side.
Zaniolo would be an incredible coup for the Cherries
It goes without saying but Nicolo Zaniolo would be a superb signing for Bournemouth, provided he accepts the offer and decides to play his football at the Vitality Stadium.
While the highly-rated creator has been able to exhibit his magic in spurts, there has never been any questioning his actual ability.
Perhaps the only question marks that can be pointed at the player are in regards to his consistency.
However, the prospect of emerging as the chief creator in a Bournemouth side lacking any real star quality could drive Zaniolo to unleash the best version of himself, provided the offer is accepted and the deal goes through.
