Bournemouth entertain West Ham United today and Eddie Howe’s men will be on their guard after a video from the Hammers training ground.
West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic shakes hands with star man Michail Antonio
West Ham have turned what was a potentially disastrous season around since Christmas and are sitting in the comfort of midtable going into the game against the Cherries.
Eddie Howe’s side aren’t far behind but know defeat to the Hammers could see them embroiled in a tense relegation scrap for the final 10 games of the Premier League season.
Slaven Bilic’s side were beaten 2-1 by runaway leaders Chelsea last time out but are boosted by news Andy Carroll and Winston Reid should be fit for Bournemouth after knocks.
Also returning is key man and player of the season so far Michail Antonio, who was sorely missed against Chelsea due to suspension.
The Cherries will be worried about his return too after Antonio posted a video of his brilliant performance in training ahead of the game.
The video was posted on Twitter with the caption: “A good days training!”
And after watching it the former non league star was clearly being modest as it shows him rifling home a succession of volleys and looking super sharp.
Antonio rises to score the winner against Bournemouth in the reverse fixture
Bournemouth will be well aware of Antonio’s threat after he scored the only goal in a late win for the Hammers in the first ever Premier League game at the Olympic Stadium at the start of the season.
With Carroll fit too, Antonio can resume his fruitful partnership with the big Geordie which has helped Bilic’s side on a run of consistent form, particularly away from home.
