This weekend sees Everton travel to the South Coast to take on Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

This fixture was one of the games of the season last year as they two sides played out a thrilling 3-3 draw.

The two sides have had contrasting starts to this season. Ronald Koeman’s side currently sit second in the table thanks to their best start since 1978.

Meanwhile, Eddie Howe’s team have managed just four points from their first five games and currently sit 17th in the table.

Two players who are key for both sides are strikers Romelu Lukaku and Callum Wilson, so we took a look at how they have compared so far.

It proved to be a comprehensive win for the Belgian as he came out on top in the eight areas that we covered.

The Everton forward has managed four goals so far, whilst Wilson has managed just the one strike in the win over West Brom.

He has also registered more shots per game and got more of them on target than the Cherries forward, as well as winning more aerial duels per game.

He also managed one assist; Wilson has none, and Lukaku also boasts more key passes and accurate passes per game.

Lastly Lukaku has had fewer unsuccessful touches per game than the Bournemouth forward. A comfortable win for Lukaku then, who Everton will be hoping can dominate in a similar manner at the weekend.
